What we do
Everything from the first sketch to the final press.

Design
Styles are drawn around a fabric, not the other way around. If a fabric will not breathe, the design stops there.

Pattern making
One pattern is graded across seven sizes, so a UK 16 is cut properly rather than scaled up from a UK 10.

Production
Cutting, sewing, pintucking, smocking and crochet trims are done in house by the same team.

Finishing and checks
Every piece is pressed, measured and checked by hand before it is packed.
What we care about
Comfort first, then the detail
Most of our waistbands are elasticated at the back. Most of our skirts and dresses have pockets. The fabrics are cotton, linen and soft blends because that is what you can actually wear in this climate. The handwork is what makes a plain colour worth buying.
